The Story

Ersan Yilmaz’s journey began in a small fishing village, where his love for the sea and seafood traditions took root. By 16, he was already mastering the art of preparing the freshest catches under the guidance of seasoned chefs.

That passion brought him to Dubai, where he founded Bordo Mavi in Jumeirah Fishing Harbour. Here, Ersan blends centuries-old recipes and techniques with modern creativity, turning each dish into a story of heritage and innovation.

Today, Bordo Mavi stands as a celebrated destination, shaped by Ersan’s devotion to the sea and his relentless pursuit of excellence.
